To promote the development of medical devices and therapies, we offer the first national entrepreneurship program on patenting, licensing, and spin-offs for early-career researchers. In 2024, the  GeneNovate® - Empowering Innovators and Entrepreneurs in Gene and Cell Therapies program was launched. The program is currently offered at nine locations in Germany.

At GeneNovate® Investors' Day, we bring together emerging startups with investors, industry representatives, scientists, representatives of patient organizations, and experts from politics and regulatory bodies. Let's shape the future of medicine together!

Together with all stakeholders, we created the central GCT-Atlas. It is the first comprehensive information platform for users from science, society, the public, politics, patient and self-help organizations, foundations, and many more. it ensures easy to access clinics, research networks, patient and selfhelp organizations, GMP facilities, Startups, BioCluster, and educational opportunities (GeneNovate® regions).

We communicate in a scientifically sound and understandable way about the opportunities and challenges of gene and cell therapies. Using a variety of formats such as social media channels, newsletters, articles, and workshops for schools, we aim to improve the understanding and acceptance of gene and cell therapies in a way that is tailored to the target audience.

 

Together with patient and self-help organizations, we develop measures to actively incorporate patient and stakeholder perspectives into (research) projects at an early stage.
